Finnish Business Council in Beijing together with The Finnish Embassy held an event on counselor topics on Saturday, February 15.
Two subjects was on the agenda. Consular Secretary Kirsi Puronpää informed the participants about services that the Embassy and Foreign Ministry of Finland can provide its citizens in the event of a crisis or other exceptional situation.
The Third Secretary of Consular Affairs Arja Safarov shed some light on the visa proceedings for non-Finnish nationals applying for a visa to enter Finland.
“Both topics spurred fruitful conversation among the participants and left everyone with a better understanding of what the Embassy can provide the expats,” Otto Ahonen, Assistant at Finnish Business Council, Beijing, said.
