Food Week 2014 in Indonesia

Last week, the Danida Business Partnerships department of the Danish Embassy in Jakarta was visited by a delegation of 10 Danish food sector companies. From seafood and meat ingredient producers to IT and machinery suppliers.

It was an intense week of workshops, site visit and B2B meetings with Indonesian companies. The aim of the delegation was to create partnerships between Danish and Indonesian companies under the Danida Business Partnerships programme; partnerships that can help improving efficiency and quality of the food sector in Denmark and Indonesia.

The Danish companies are all eager to return to Indonesia to further explore the huge opportunities in the market.

From the Embassy we would like to thank all partcipants and partners that have contributed to the success of this delegation. We are sure this will only strengthen the ties between our two countries.

Danida Business Partnership supports development through creating partnerships between Danish and Indonesian companies/organisations, which aims to contribute to job creation, improved competitiveness of the Indonesian economy and promoting corporate social responsibility.
