Handy with a camera? Help illustrate Swedish-Vietnamese friendship

The Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi is looking for photos to illustrate the Swedish-Vietnamese friendship and how Sweden has contributed to Vietnam’s development from 1969 until now. On the embassy’s Facebook they are calling out for everyone to submit such photos, writing:

We are looking for any pictures you may have of people, projects, or places signifying Swedish-Vietnamese cooperation. For practical reasons please limit your uploads to no more than five photos.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR ALL PICTURES YOU UPLOAD YOU ALSO GIVE PERMISSION TO THE EMBASSY OF SWEDEN IN HANOI TO USE IT ACCORDING TO OUR NEEDS.

Some of these pictures will be used at different events where Swedish-Vietnamese cooperation will be celebrated. One of these events will take place on the 4th of November. We will also use the photos for the celebration of 45 years of diplomatic relations in 2014.

Please follow the following format when uploading a picture:

1. Upload your picture.

2. Type in: What the picture is of, for example, “Paper production at Bai Bang”; when it was taken; who is in the picture (if relevant); and by whom it was taken.

If you do not wish to upload on Facebook or if you have hard copies of a picture you may send hard copies/DVDs/USB sticks etc. to:

Embassy of Sweden

P.O. Box 9

Ba Dinh District

Or if you are in Sweden please send to;

  1. Good initiative! I will look through my photos fram past times in Vietnam and send your notice around to friends of the Vietnam – Sweden cooperation. As I was involved in some of the past similar events, you might also be able to help out with advice.

    Best regards
