Harmony for Hope Raises Over 2 Million Baht for 75 Students

On June 7, the ISB community came together for an unforgettable evening of music, generosity, and purpose at Harmony for Hope, a special charity concert celebrating the school’s 75th anniversary.

Organized in partnership with Kula, the event welcomed students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, sponsors, and friends of ISB, all united by a shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities for young people.

The concert featured an extraordinary lineup of performers. Special guest Lydia Sarunrat Deane brought warmth and star power to the stage, joined by internationally acclaimed collegiate a cappella groups The Harvard Krokodiloes and The Radcliffe Pitches, and Apex Winds Middle School saxophone players performing the Royal Anthem. The ISB Middle/High School Choir and Choral Union rounded out the evening with choral selections, filling the theater with rich, layered sound.

The night also shone a spotlight on ISB’s own remarkable young talent. Jisang Lee (Grade 4) delivered a moving cello performance, followed by a piano showcase from Pachara Panyachare (Grade 5). Soloist Brenya Lohwongwatana (Grade 11) captivated the audience with her vocal performance, joining Rungphob Lertvilaivithaya (Grade 11) in a duet with piano accompaniment by Pirada Bisalputra (Grade 11). The evening was further elevated by a lyrical dance performance from Pannakarn Kulmanochwong (Grade 10).

The support from the ISB community was truly extraordinary. Through ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, and the live auction, Harmony for Hope raised more than 2 million baht to support 75 students from the iCare Thailand Foundation in completing their high school education.

“Education changes lives, but for many students, continuing school is not guaranteed,” said Ajarn Usa Somboon, ISB Headmistress. “Harmony for Hope reflects the compassion and generosity of our community and reminds us that even small acts of support can open doors for young people and their futures.”

One of the most inspiring aspects of the evening was seeing generations of the ISB community come together, current students, parents, alumni, and supporters, each contributing to a cause larger than themselves. Their generosity will help create opportunities for students to continue their education and work toward a brighter future.

As ISB celebrates 75 years of learning, service, and community, Harmony for Hope beautifully reflected the values that continue to define our school. It was more than a concert; it was a celebration of compassion, connection, and the belief that education can change lives.

We extend our sincere thanks to Kula, our sponsors, performers, volunteers, donors, and everyone who attended and supported this special event. Together, we transformed an evening of incredible music into a lasting impact for 75 young people.
