Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Jolla announced on Thursday that its smartphones will be on sale in Hong Kong starting from August 12. Jolla works with mobile operator 3, Hong Kong’s leading communications service provider, to sell its Sailfish OS smart phones. 
Jolla has not yet revealed the selling price. Founded in 2011 by a group of ex-Nokia employees, Jolla is a Finnish mobile device design and development company based in Helsinki, Finland.
The company has R&D sectors in Helsinki and Tampere, and an office in Hong Kong. The company is also said to be establishing R&D operations in Chinese mainland.
