Interaksyon.com reported on 7 Jan 2014 that Jotun, Norway’s leading producer of paints, coatings and powder 
coatings is setting up a factory in the Philippines. Michael Thorup Kruse, Jotun (Philippines) Inc General Manager, was quoted as saying that Jotun had already purchased the land in St. Tomas, Batangas where the new factory would be built.
