Khmer students reception at the Swedish residence

A group of more than 40 Cambodian former ITP and scholarship students to Sweden gathered in early December for a much appreciated cocktail-evening at the Swedish residence in Phnom Penh.

Hundreds of Cambodians have received professional training through the International Training Programmes (ITP). Each year the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency offers between 80-90 ITP Programmes. The courses are given on advanced level and are specially tailored to professionals with work experience.

During the evening, the enthusiastic students shared their experiences from their stay in Sweden and the knowledge gained from their studies. The Swedish Ambassador pointed out that the Cambodian students’ knowledge and relationship to Sweden contributes to strengthening the ties between the two countries.

The Swedish Institute who co-hosted the event provided information about Scholarship Opportunities in Sweden. More information about this can be found on the following websites.
