Police arrested on Sunday late evening Finland national Jouni Lempinen for allegedly starting a brawl inside a bar in Nakpil St., Ermita, Manila.
Jouni Lempinen suffered cuts and bruises on the face and arms as he reportedly fended off being lynched, according to the police.
Police said the Finnish tourist suffered bruises in his face and arms after being punched by an angry mob of bar patrons and by jumping-off the second floor level of the bar and landing on a parked car. Lempinen denied starting the fight saying that he was just trying to defend a lady being molested by one of the bar’s customers.
