APCOM, one of Asia Pacific leading HIV and LGBTI community networks, based in Bangkok, is organising LGBTQI+ Biz Forum 2020 on 26 – 27 November 2020 at Eternity Ballroom, Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel. This forum is a part of APCOM Community Summit 2020. Over the two days, the forum will feature various sessions including LGBTQI+ Situation in Thailand, Thailand LGBTQI+ Inclusive Business, Facebook Training: How to use Facebook Ad effectively?, Thailand LGBTQI+ Moving Forward, Health and Wellbeing, Self – Development and much more.
Attendees can participate in the Thai LGBTQI+ Trade Fair and a special session on Diversity and Inclusion at the Infinity Ballroom, Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel. The aforementioned session will focus on why inclusion in the private sector is important; and experiences of LGBTQI+ inclusion in some businesses in Thailand. There will also be booths from various Thai based SMEs and LGBTQI+ organizations which will showcase knowledge and expertise in their specific work or business area. This aims to contribute to raising awareness and increasing discussions about diversity and inclusion in the private sector.
Additionally, APCOM is also hosting Hero Awards 2020 on 27th November at the Pullman King Power hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. The HERO Awards is an annual gala event which acknowledges outstanding HIV and LGBTQI+ advocates and allies from across Asia and the Pacific. The awards also raise money for the HIV prevention and human rights work of APCOM.
The evening will bring together celebrities, special guests, community members and supporters to pay tribute to the extraordinary contributions of individuals and organisations who have improved the lives of LGBTQI+ people and people affected by HIV throughout the Asia Pacific region.
