Nordic Business Council Philippines (NBCP) with the Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC), led by Chairman Timo Kotilainen organized a Cyber Security and eSociety Workshop in early September at the New World Hotel.
NBCP President Bo Lundqvist gave the opening remarks followed by the introduction of the Finnish delegation and the overview of the cyber security framework in the Philippines by DOST-ICTO Office-in-Charge Alberto Salvador, Jr.
The presentations were followed by a panel discussion composed of Maynilad CIO Kiko Castillo and Globe Telecom CISO Anton Bonifacio, joined by Nixu CDO Kim Westerlund and FISC Executive Director Juha Remes. The session was rounded out with a workshop on small-groups to share best practices.
