Finnish Business Council (FBC) in Singapore and Singaporen Suomalaiset (SiSu) held their annual general meeting on the 18th of March 2019 where new members of both associations were elected to the board for 2019-2020.
According to FBC’s official website, new board members selected were:

Treasurer, Ms Tiina Haikola (Aalto EE)
Secretary, Mr Jaakko Krankkala (KONE)
Member, Mr Jani Valtonen (Nordea)
Member, Ms Niina Tippin (Expat Insurance)
Member, Mr Tero Juotasniemi (Handelsbanken)
Member, Ms Leena Ollitervo (Nokia)
Member, Ms Anissa Margono (PRE:MIND)
For SiSu’s new board members, there were Laura Saanakorpi, Paula Akkanen, Neta Mäki, Anna Nanning, Tommi Rouru, Henni Nurmi, Harri Nieminen, Ilona Jäättelä, Peter Kenttä, Matti Reinikainen ja Gabriella Still, Pia Saares, Johanna Haataja and Anissa Margono.
Founded in 1985, FBC is a non-profit agency for entrepreneur involved in business between Singapore and Finland. With 50 corporate members, 5 individual members and 2 honorary members, FBC aimed to strengthen trade between Singapore and Finland by providing a forum or the place where their members can socialize and form a bridge to the local business community.
Similarly, SiSu started operating in 1982 and for over 30 years, it aimed to support the local Finnish community and newcommers to adapt to the life and business in Singapore.
