Vietnam’s new Ambassador to Finland, Nguyễn Hoàng Diệu Tâm, formally began her term after presenting her credentials to Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki on Wednesday, 26 August.
Nguyễn Hoàng Diệu Tâm arrived in Finland in early July and subsequently presented a copy of her credentials to the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
She takes up the position following the establishment of a strategic partnership between Vietnam and Finland in October 2025. The partnership is intended to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas including trade, technology, education, energy and sustainable development.
The ambassador has said she will work with Finnish authorities and other partners to implement agreements reached under the new framework.
