Nordic photography exhibition in Jakarta

“It Came from the North” a photography exhibition is lunched on Tuesday, 19 February 2019 in the cooperation by the embassies of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and ISA Art Advisory.

Presented by 11 artists from Nordic countries and Indonesia, “It Came from the North” portrays the beauty of the Nordic nature and landscapes through photographs in the form of traditional landscape imagery and in more abstract formats.

The exhibition was opened by speeches from each Nordic Ambassador.

Jari Sinkari, the Ambassador of Finland to Indonesia, is one of the Nordic Ambassadors who gave the speech expressing the benefit and importance of Finland’s forests and landscapes in both economical and emotional way.

“They provide us with feelings of tranquility, serenity and beauty. Economically they are considered the green gold of Finland,” he stated.

The exhibition will be opened until 22 March 2019 at World Trade Centre 2 Building, Jl. Jendral Sudirman Kav. 29-31, Jakarta.
