At the annual World Cleanup Day 2018 in September, taking place simultaneously in a number of places around the world, the Embassy of Finland in Jakarta joined in. Together with their Nordic colleagues and Raffles Jakarta, the Finnish embassy joined this important initiative to raise awareness of the global waste problem.
“Everybody can contribute to making their neighbourhoods safer and healthier places to live – one piece of trash at a time!” wrote the Embassy of Finland in Jakarta, sharing a sneak peek of what it looked like.
