Norwegian ambassador spotted cycling to work in Jakarta

Ambassador of Norway for Indonesia Stig Traavik sometimes prefers to choose cycling rather than driving a car to his office in Jakarta in order to stay healthy.

“I like cycling very much because it is my favorite activity, and I still ride cycle. Norwegian people love cycling,” Traavik said here on September 1.

Traavik along with Norwegian Counselor Per Kristian Roer had attended the inauguration ceremony of National Initiative: The Protection and Recognition of Indigenous People through REDD+ in Vice Presidents Palace.

His hobby of cycling had drawn attention from the media because he had attached the cycle behind his parked official car while attending the ceremony.
