According to local media Sun Star, a 63-year-old Norwegian native has been found dead with a gunshot wound on his jaw in Naval, Biliran, Philippines.
The victim has been identified as Svein Ingar Hakonsen and he was living in the mountains of Sitio Cahucao in Barangay Villa Caneja, Naval.
On Wednesday 31 March around 10:25 p.m., personnel of Naval Municipal Police Station, led by Major Michael John Astorga received a report from the barangay captain and responded to the shooting.
As of Thursday evening, April 1, there was no description available about the assailant and police are still investigating the identity of the culprit.
