In a sting operation, undercover Immigration Department agents arrested a Norwegian national, who had been offering chiropractic treatments without licence from Thailand’s Public Health Ministry. The suspect, identified as Vincens Steen, had offered his service to foreign clients in Pattaya area without a work permit, according to Immigration Department officers. 
Steen, 37, who claims to be a graduate from the Scandinavian College of Chiropractic in Stockholm and with an authorisation from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare, operated the Back in Motion clinic in Jomtien, Pattaya.
The Norwegian man, who entered and resided in Thailand using a valid student visa, was taken into custody by Immigration Department agent, pending investigation and legal actions.
