Norwegian man seriously injured in van crash

Five passengers are injured and one of them is Norwegian man who reportedly has sustained serious injuries after a van collided with a gas truck on Saraburi-Lomsak Road (Highway 21) in Lopburi, Thailand.

In the late morning of June 20, the local rescue team reported that they were notified of the car accident on Saraburi-Lomsak Road (Highway 21) in Lopburi.

When reaching the scene, the rescue team found a van which its left hand side was ripped open from the impact with the gas truck.

The injured were five in total consisting of four Thais who have minor injuries and one Norwegian man aged 50 who has sustained serious injuries.

The rescue team performed CPR on the Norwegian man before sending him and other injured passengers to hospital.

Police are continuing their investigation and no deaths reported.
