Cambodia has deported 372 foreigners in a large-scale immigration operation, Khmer Times reports.
According to the Director-General of Immigration under the Ministry of Interior, the deportations took place on 19-20 February 2026. The individuals represented 18 different nationalities, including a citizen of Norway.
The operation was carried out under instructions from senior officials, including the Interior Minister. Those deported were accused of illegal border crossings, overstaying without valid passports, or working unlawfully in the country.
The individuals were sent out via Techo International Airport.
Authorities in Cambodia said the move is part of an ongoing effort to combat cybercrime and other illegal activities, as well as to rescue victims who may have been misled into unlawful work.
