Maria Sargren, the Ambassador of Sweden to Malaysia hosted an official launching ceremony of Sweden Alumni Network of Cambodia (SANCam) at her residence on 27 March 2019.
The Ambassador had a pleasure to welcome 50 participants from Swedish alumni, development partners, universities and representatives from other Swedish alumni associating in Cambodia.
“I am very happy to see the Swedish alumni network growing and that more and more members take on important roles in the Cambodian society,” said Maria Sargren.
At the ceremony, a certificate of recognition from the Swedish Institute (SI) was handed by the Ambassador to the new board management of the network.
The certificate of recognition from SI was presented to express the Ambassador’s appreciation for the board management’s excellent performance since the beginning of the process and to indicate that SANCam is one of 36 certified Swedish alumni networks around the world.
