Saab will manage the necessary infrastructure works, and provide installation services, configuration and tuning, commissioning and an extended control and monitoring system as well as training.

The Saab A3000 Advanced – Surface Movement Guidance & Control System (A-SMGCS) is also deployed at Changi where the system integrates multilateration and SMR surveillance into a single display for air traffic controllers.

“With the new radars, the air traffic controllers at Changi will have the tools needed to efficiently manage the airport’s growing traffic” said Ken Kaminski, general manager of Saab ATM.

“Changi Airport in Singapore has been voted the best airport in the world several times. Being selected as a supplier for this airport makes us very proud” said Anders Dahl, Head of Saab Singapore.
