From September 2015 SAS will operate 5 weekly flights between Stockholm and Hong Kong.

According to Swedish newspaper SvD Naringsliv, the business communities in Stockholm have been complaining about a lack of direct long-distance routes from Arlanda airport.

Right now SAS operates Asian routes to Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo all of them from Copenhagen Airport. In the late 90’s and early 00’s SAS had a direct route between Copenhagen and Hong Kong, but now it is Stockholm’s turn to get a closer connection to the financial hub.

  1. SAS i bankrupt. Their personnel are the most arrogantand highly paid. An airline which belong to the 19th century.Typical Scandinavian keep it afloat and let the taxpaier pay.

  2. Why not Singapore? Your JV with SQ is too highly priced and with companies cutting down on travel cost other airlines will get the business that you had well covered some years ago.

  3. Why no Asian routes from Oslo Gardermoen? At least once or twice a week and then two or three times a week from Arlanda?
