Söderberg & Partners has announced that ANE Services AS is being fully integrated into the group’s Global Mobility unit, according to a press release issued on 6 January 2026. Söderberg & Partners is a Nordic financial advisory group providing insurance brokerage, pension consulting, and wealth management services to companies and private clients.
According to Söderberg & Partners, ANE Services AS, previously known as Association for Nordic Expats (ANE), has its origins in Singapore and has for many years delivered international health and personal risk solutions to globally mobile employees, especially within shipping and industry.
The company states that the integration follows close cooperation between the parties since 2023 and is intended to strengthen services to Nordic companies with employees abroad, with particular focus on Singapore and Southeast Asia.
“This is a natural continuation of many years of work for customers in the region,” says Irene Solberg Rømmen, Portfolio Manager Employee Benefits at ANE, in the press release.
“Through Söderberg & Partners, our customers gain access to a broader insurance market, improved terms, and seamless administration across borders.”
Irene Solberg Rømmen is also known in the Nordic communities in Southeast Asia for her long-standing voluntary engagement in Cambodia. Together with her husband, she has been involved for many years in private charitable initiatives in the country. Most prominent is the support for the KUMA school in Cambodia, which provides education and basic welfare services for vulnerable children, according to information from NAPIC, the organisation behind the project.
Söderberg & Partners states that Global Mobility addresses complex insurance challenges across national borders through specialist expertise, global analysis, and a shared administration platform. As part of the integration, Irene Solberg Rømmen joins Söderberg & Partners Global Mobility together with Bjørn Kalvåg and Henning Haga.
The company further notes that Kalvåg and Haga have been active since the 1990s in shaping the international employee insurance market for Nordic companies and now broker insurance solutions for businesses with employees worldwide.
“We are proud to have a dedicated insurance brokerage team for global mobility and expats. With ANE on board, we strengthen our presence in Singapore,” says Jan Kjetil Hvamstad, CEO of Söderberg & Partners Norway, according to the press release.
Söderberg & Partners describes Global Mobility as a specialist unit supporting Nordic employers in the design, implementation, and management of insurance and benefit programmes for globally mobile and local employees worldwide, combining global analysis, an international administration platform, and local compliance.
The company states that from the beginning of 2026, ANE’s operations are fully integrated into Söderberg & Partners Global Mobility.
