The Embassy of Sweden in Singapore and Try Swedish are inviting families and friends to experience a Swedish-style “Cosy Friday Night” on Friday 21 November at Chijmes. The event highlights the popular Swedish tradition fredagsmys— a relaxed Friday evening with films, snacks and time spent together.
Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy Swedish short films, a feature screening of Belleville Baby by Mia Engberg, and several live performances by Swedish magician and robotics artist Charlie Caper. An intermission with Swedish food tasting is also part of the programme.
The event is organised in collaboration with SwedCham Singapore and supported by a wide group of Swedish companies and food producers, including Barebells, Cloetta, Kavli, Norrbottens Destilleri, Santa Maria, Vitamin Well and others.
“Cosy Friday Night” takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Chijmes, 30 Victoria Street, and is open to families looking to explore Swedish culture in an informal setting.
