Swedish businessman Gösta Lindbäck, 75, has passed away following a tragic drowning accident in Thailand, where he was on an extended vacation. According to reports from Swedish media, Lindbäck had been in Thailand for a three-month stay when the incident occurred.
During a swim, he drifted too far from shore and was unable to return on his own. A passing boat assisted him back to land, and he was still alive when transported to the hospital. However, despite medical efforts, he later succumbed to the incident.
Lindbäck, a well-known figure in the Swedish business community, was described by his nephew, Stefan Lindbäck, as a caring and joyful person whose passing is a great loss to both his family and the company he was associated with. His children, Hans Lindbäck and Anna Bergsten, have traveled to Thailand to handle the necessary arrangements following their father’s passing.
