The Swedish Embassy in Bangkok has announced additional passport appointment slots on 18–19 March to meet increased demand for new passports.
According to the embassy, extra resources have been allocated to handle the high number of applications.
The appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants who do not urgently need a new passport are encouraged to allow those with more immediate needs to book the available slots.
The embassy also stated that new appointment slots for May will be released at 10:00 local time on the last Friday of March.

For Swedish citizens who need to travel back to Sweden urgently, it is also possible to apply for a provisional passport for a single journey.
