The Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok has issued a warning about fraudulent job advertisements circulating on TikTok, where individuals are being misled into paying money for supposed work opportunities as berry pickers in Sweden.

In an official statement on the Facebook page of the embassy, the embassy emphasized that it has no involvement with these advertisements or the associated accounts. It stressed that only the Swedish Migration Agency is authorized to process applications for seasonal work permits in Sweden.

The embassy advises the public to remain vigilant against scams and to verify any information through official sources, such as www.migrationsverket.se.
