Swedish polymer group Polykemi has announced plans to double the capacity of its plant in China in 2014.
The company hopes to increase capacity to 20,000 tonnes from the current 4,000-5,000 tonnes.
MD Magnus Lindahl announced the plan at a lunch organised to celebrate its 45 year anniversary.
“Through our factory in China we can offer our customers in Asia the same high quality materials as Polykemi and Scanfill, our subsidiary working with environmentally friendly packaging materials in Sweden,” said the company.
