Due to the Songkran days approaching this Saturday, April 13 – 15, Staffan Herrström, Swedish Ambassador and Satu Suikkari-Kleven Finnish Ambassadors greet Thais Happy Songkran throung a Youtute video posted by the Ministry of Culture and Embassies in Thailand on April 4, 2019.
“Have fun! But remember to be safe,” Staffan Herrström said in Thai.
“We’re wishing all Thai people lots of happiness and blessing for the Thai New Year,” said Satu Suikkari-Kleven.
Apart from Sweden and Finland, the video also presented the similar well-wishes mostly in Thai delivered by diplomats from 27 different countries including Australia, Bahrain, Cambodia, Canada, China, France, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Libya, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Peru, Panama, the Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, South Korea, the UK, the US, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Uzbekistan.
