His Royal Highness, Prince Consort Henrik of Denmark will the upcoming Friday the 9th of March 2012 perform the opening of the brand new Hotel Mermaid Bangkok, Sukumvit Soi 29. Mr. Jorgen Lundbaek, one of the owners, is obviously happy with this exceptional honor.
“I am happy that His Royal Highness will open the hotel on his way home to Denmark from China. His Royal Highness opened the SAS route from Copenhagen to Shanghai on the first of March and had a private holiday in the eastern part of China afterwards. During a short stop over In Bangkok he will be doing us the honor to open the hotel,” says Mr. Jorgen Lundbaek. Mr. Lundbaek has invited many Danes to be his guest on this evening, including the Danish Ambassador Mikael H. Winther
The staff and constructors on Hotel Mermaid Bangkok are pretty busy in these days. The construction of the hotel with a good first class decoration and the popular Admiral Pub and restaurant is now finished. The restaurant and pub, equipped with navy decorations from Old Danish ships opened last year and have been very popular since.
