The Danish Business Association (DBA) in Indonesia held an interesting event in Jakarta where they had a unique opportunity to meet one of the most influential media persons in Scandinavia, Mr. Jorgen Ejbol who is the Chairman of the Board of newspaper group JP/Politikens Hus.
As part of his visit last week on Wednesday 11 April, he had agreed to kick-start DBA’s new season as guest speaker.
The topic of the evening was “The New Role of Media in a Global Perspective”.
“It was an interesting and interactive evening where Mr. Jørgen Ejbol gave an insight into the current and future situation of global, regional and local media companies. He addressed issues around digital strategy, intellectual property of information and how he saw the landscape for media companies being changed in light of globalization and digitalization,” says Ms. Camilla Luxhoj the Administrative Coordinator of DBA.
DBA is a non-profit organization, which is partly relying on membership fee’s to run the organization, the website, arrange events and activities and ensure that DBA is using its voice to support Danish business interests in Indonesia. As the new season has begun it is time to renew or become member of DBA Indonesia.
