A Norwegian landed in jail after two women filed rape charges against him on Sunday, July 11 in Parañaque City, a report on Manila Bulletin says.
The two victims, residents of Pangarap Village in Caloocan City, filed their complaints against 48-year-old Arve Malvin Lausen, saying the rape took place during the night of July 10 connecting July 11 when the alleged Norwegian invited them to his rented condominium unit on Roxas Boulevard.
The victims admitted to Parañaque police that they were friends of the suspect and that was why they accepted his invitation.
The suspect was on Tuesday, July 13 still in the police station investigation detention cell. The Norwegian Embassy has already been informed by the police about the case.
