Swedish software provider Teligent has been awarded a contract from SingTel, a leading mobile operator in South East Asia.
The contract is for a sizeable Next Generation Messaging Solution replacing existing legacy voice and fax mail systems.
Teligent’s solution will handle multiple applications and mailboxes, for all networks (fixed and mobile) cost efficiently on a single platform.

The Next Generation Messaging Solution for SingTel is based on the patented Teligent P90/E middleware platform, which is implemented in various configurations by a large number of leading carriers in the international telecommunications market.
Users include BT, Cingular, MCI, T-Mobile USA, Telefónica, Tele2, Telia and members of the Vodafone group.
