The orthopaedic clinics at Alexandra hospital in Singapore and the county hospital in Halmstad will cooperate and exchange specialists.
Dr Thaim Wai Chin, head of Alexandra hospital’s orthopaedic clinic is currently visiting his counterparts in Halmstad to gather know-how prior to the formal exchange takes place later this fall. Then will two Singaporean doctors work at the Swedish hospital.
This cooperation was initiated during a six month stint at Alexandra hospital by Dr Anders Wykman, head of Halmstad county hospital’s orthopaedic clinic, between 2002 and 2003.
