Crown Prince of Norway to visit Cambodia

Crown Prince Haakan of Norway will pay an official visit to Cambodia on 4 – 7 October 2004. His Royal Highness will visit the country in His capacity as goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Program, UNDP.
     “The purpose of the visit is to become familiar with the work of UNDP in Cambodia and create awareness of the millennium targets established by the United Nations,” a press release from the Royal House of Norway of 3 September states.
     During the three days programme, The Crown Prince is scheduled to visit several UNDP activities in Phnom Penh, Kampong Chnang, Siem Reap and areas around the great Tonle Sap lake.
