Today, 15 May Danish Ambassador to China, Friis Arne Petersen took part in a summit hosted by the National School of Development at Peking University. The theme of the summit was “The Euro Debt Crisis and Influence on China-EU Cooperation”.
The event included several high profile speakers like, Mr. Costas Simitis, Former Prime Minister of Greece, Mr. Cheng Siwei, former Deputy Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Mr. Jin Liqun, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of China Investment Corporation (CIC) and other local academics and business people.
The Ambassador participated in the roundtable discussion on the recent development of Euro Debt Crisis and its impact on China as Ambassador for the EU Presidency country, where the latest development in Greece was debated at a academic level.
