Finnish Angry Birds Adventure atop Singapore’s Mount Faber

Here’s good news for Angry Birds fans in Asia. From June to December this year, you can experience the Angry Birds Adventure from the Singapore’s iconic Cable Car Ride atop Mount Faber.

A Finish Rovio Entertainment will open its first officially licensed Angry Birds Theme Park in Finland in June. But if you can’t make that far, Singapore is offering the next best thing “Angry Birds Adventure atop Mount Faber.”

Thirty of Singapore Cabins will turn into Angry Birds cabins at Mount Faber, with the familiar soundtrack – snorting and chirping. Featuring interactive game stations, fans also can take part in creative workshops and eat quirky Angry Birds meals. A complimentary Angry Birds face mask and a mocktail in a fun-designed cup are offered.

Only in June, three specially designed, fully wrapped Angry Birds cable car cabins will depict the Angry Birds chasing after an evil green pig. For more information, check out the Angry Birds Adventure Facebook page.

According to Forbes, the Angry Birds series hit 1 billion downloads globally in May this year. Gameinformer.com reports that the latest version of the game ‘Angry Birds Space’ has been downloaded more than 50 million times.

The Facebook version of Angry Birds has been rebranded ‘Angry Birds Friends’ this week, offering additional features to increase competition among players.

Rovio Entertainment plans to make a public offering next year. The New York Times has estimated that the sales value of Rovio could be up to US$ 9 billion. 

Singapore Cable Car tickets are on sale at counters at Imbiah Lookout on Sentosa, Harbourfront Tower 2 and The Jewel Box. Ticket Prices are S$29/person for adults and S$18/person for kids.
