The Finnish Business Council Shanghai (FBCS) organized a ‘members only’ visit to the Shanghai General Motors factory on 25th of May.
The visit was followed by a cheerful dinner and an after-party with a Finnish band.
“With more than 40 participants the event was a stellar success,” writes Ms. Bo Qin, Secretary of the Board at FBCS.
Established on June 12, 1997, Shanghai General Motors (SGM) is a 50-50 joint venture partnership between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC).
Walking along the mid-air observation corridor around the inside of the factory of General Motors, the members of FBCS saw the whole manufacturing process of auto making.
During the visit, the members got a clear view of modern industrial civilization and technology concentration.
