Murder Accused Norwegian Denies All Charges

Stein Havard Dokset, a 50 year old Norwegian, denies killing his lover, Rungnapa “June” Ratchasombut, who disappeared in 2009 at the age of 30. When appearing in Phuket Provinsial Court Monday, he claimed the death was an accident. They had argued, and he had accidently knocked Khun June into a wall, and she fell down the stairs.

Rungnapa “June” Ratschasombut disapered in 2009. Her body was discovered in a bin in Stein Havard Dokset’s house February this year by a team of special investigators from Bangkok. Her family had in vane tried to persuade the local police to investigate her disappearance.

The family of Rungnapa ”June” Ratchasombut are demanding a 12 million bath compensation for the deceased’s two children.  A demand Stein Havard Dokset commented to Phuket Wan.
“Give me a break, let’s talk 20 bath.”

The trial will continue with a hearing  October 29 in Surat Thani , where the first autopsy on the alleged remains of Khun June took place, then again on December 3 in Bangkok, where a further autopsy was conducted.
