Shopping malls in China choose Finnish Kone

When Inter IKEA Centre Group (IICG) opens shopping Malls in Wuxin and Beijing, it will be Finnish Kone who has delivered the 121 escalators, 69 elevators and 10 autowalks that will serve the customers. Both shopping Malls expect to receive over 10,000 visitors every day.

The Malls will become one-stop shopping destinations offering fashion retailers, restaurants, cafés and leisure opportunities along with a cinema, electronics, hypermarket and IKEA.

The IICG Beijing shopping Mall is scheduled to open at the end of 2014 and the one in Wuxi at the end of 2013.

The IICG is jointly owned by the Inter IKEA Group and IKEA Group, with headquarters in Kastrup, Denmark. They specialize in the development, operation and management of shopping centres in partnership with IKEA.
