Export of Danish Nursing knowledge to China

The nursing home project D’care is aimed at establishing a sustainable nursing home operating under the same standards as the Danish model, in Western China. The idea behind the project is that private Danish investors and other organizations in collaboration with Chinese partners are to run a privately owned nursing home and rehabilitation centre on commercial feasible terms.

The change of China’s demography with raising share of elderly people and a shrinking share of the population to support them could make a market for Danish knowhow in nursing.

It is Trade Council China in cooperation with VIA University College which has launched the D’care project.
