Mr. Karsten Ankjær Jensen, the Danish Consul General, attended the opening of the annual music festival “Music China” in Shanghai on 12 October 2012.
Music China is widely recognized as one of the biggest international exhibitions for music instruments and accessories. The Consul General met with Danish exhibitors at the festival.
“I take a keen interest in the commercial focus of the festival and I am glad to see Danish companies partake in the event. I hope that this can serve as a basis, from where Danish music publishers can enter the Chinese market,” says Mr. Jensen.
“Furthermore, I am pleased to meet with representatives from the Danish music publishing industry and learn about their experience with the Chinese market.”
The Consul General was invited by Ms. Unni Trap Lund, sales manager at Edition-S, to visit the Nordic booth at the music festival and talk about the music publishing industry and its activities in China.
