On 27-28 October 2012, the Swedish Embassy participated in The OCSC International Education Expo 2012 held at Siam Paragon Shopping Complex in Bangkok.
The Expo, with participation from more than 200 universities from over 20 countries, drew over 30,000 visitors consisting of students, diploma holders, educational professionals, agents, parents and the general public. The embassy’s staff, two Alumni and one representative from Chalmers University were at the booth giving information about studying in Sweden to interested visitors.
According to the embassy, Chalmers University offers a special scholarship program for Thai students. Many Thai students showed an active interest in studying in Sweden and had many questions about the conditions for being a student in Sweden.
