Swedish citizen Per-ake Ingvar Arvidsson, 67, hanged himself on the eve of November 8 at the back of the HomePro complex in Chalong, reports the Phuket News.
His wife told the newspaper that she and her husband had an argument about his drinking habits, which she regarded as excessive. He walked out of their house in Soi Anusorn, where the couple had lived for two years, and drove off.
The Kusoldharm Rescue Foundation were called this morning after a security guard found Mr Arvidsson at 6 am, hanged with a packing case tie in a storage area at the back of the shopping complex.
His body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital.
