Denmark’s Man B & W transfers shipbuilding technology to Vinashin

Denmark’s Man B & W and the Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin) signed a contract to assist in the modernisation of Vinashin’s production lines in Ha Noi on 8 November 2004.
Man B & W will transfer technology of hydrologic machinery assembling and manufacturing to the Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin).
The hydrologic machinery assembling and manufacturing in the country aims to provide engines for domestic shipbuilding factories and for exports in the future. This will also help staff have access to modern shipbuilding technology which it can apply in production to increase the industry’s revenue as well as reduce the price of its products.
The cooperation between Man B & W and Vinashin will contribute to the development of Viet Nam’s shipbuilding industry and help the country catch up with advanced shipbuilding nations in the region and the world as well.
