Electrowatt-Ekono Power Supply for Amata

Electrowatt-Ekono, the Finnish consulting and engineering firm, has entered agreements with Amata to supply a 60-megawatt gas-fired co-generation power plant in Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, 57km southeast of Bangkok.
     The contracts include the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of services for the cycle-gas turbine plant.
     The Bt1.6 billion project will be completed in early 2007.This is Electrowatt-Ekono’s fourth Thai plant based on gas-turbine power-production technology.
