The Thai cabinet endorsed on June 28th a Foreign Ministry proposal to recognise the appointment Peter Truelsen as Consul General for Iceland and Denmark in Phuket.
Government spokesman Chalermdej Jombunud said that the appointment of the official was a good sign to boost up the tourism in the province.
