A possible fake news about a promotional event offering fans a dinner with Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig, has stirred online backlash after being posted on Miss Universe Thailand’s official Facebook page. The post seems later to have been removed.

The package, allegedly priced at 5,900 baht (US$175), includes VIP access to the Miss Universe 2025 press conference, a signed poster, a limited-edition T-shirt, a VIP lanyard, and a personal photo and autograph session with Theilvig.

Some news channels report that social media users have criticized the offer as overly commercial, with one commenter supposedly writing, “Too expensive for a photograph,” while another allegedly said, “You really know how to make money.”

Theilvig, 22, is the first Danish contestant to win the Miss Universe crown. She previously competed in Miss Denmark 2021, placing as second runner-up, and went on to represent Denmark at Miss Grand International 2022, where she reached the top 20.

ScandAsia.com has not been able to identify if this event indeed takes place and if so where and how to buy these ticket that are being criticized. If you know, please place a link in the comment field at the bottom of the page.  Thank you.
