Niels H Jensen to Turn The Lights Off

With the sale of EAC Nutrition to the Dutch company Numico, Niels Henrik Jensen, the current Vice President at EAC’s Group Operational Centre in Singapore, will be promoted CEO and President of the EAC Group.
       Niels Henrik Jensen will be in charge of moving the remains of the EAC Head Quarter in Singapore to Copenhagen and sell off the last three business areas of the former legendary Danish company.
       The remaining business areas are the moving company Santa Fe, the Plumrose meat company in Venezuela and EAC’s industrial ingredients business. EAC previously sold off its graphic business division.
       Niels Henrik Jensen says to the Danish daily Borsen that his main task now is to keep expanding and managing the remaining business areas as excellent as possible in order to get an attractive price for them.
       EAC’s coming new CEO Niels Henrik Jensen, 51, joined EAC in 1979 and was appointed Executive Vice President in October 1998. He is responsible for group structure and taxation and has participated in group strategic and portfolio management. He is a lawyer by training and has worked in EAC’s legal department in Copenhagen (the firm’s former headquarters), in various positions with EAC in North America and Denmark, and as Group Corporate Vice President at EAC’s Group Operational Centre in Singapore.
       Niels Henrik Jensen is a board member of DABS – Danish Business Association of Singapore – where he is the treasurer of the Committee.
       Niels Henrik Jensen is also Chairman of the Council of the Danish Seamen’s Church in Singapore.
