Danish Funded Waste Water Plant Opened in Vietnam

The Danish ambassador to Vietnam, Peter Lysholt Hansen, was very pleased that it has been possible to turn a project into reality through diligence, hard work and excellent cooperation with the local authorities, the homepage of the Danish Embassy in Vietnam reports. The ambassador expressed hope that the project would not only better the living conditions and sanitary standards within Dalat City, but also serve as an example for other cities in Vietnam to follow.

It is anticipated that the waste water plant will treat sewage from 50,000 people in Dalat City. The work of connecting households to the new treatment plant is still ongoing.
